Jeff Andrews Partners with A. Rudin for Debut Furniture Collection

It was only a matter of time before Jeff Andrews collaborated on his first furniture collection with A. Rudin. Jeff built his relationship with the A. Rudin family over many years of specifying and customizing their furniture for his design clients. In March, Jeff’s 17-piece collection of upholstery and tables debuted at WESTWEEK.

Isabelle de Borchgrave Adds a Painterly Touch to Frabricut Wallcoverings

Belgian artist and sculptor Isabelle de Borchgrave is known for her colorful paintings and intricately painted paper costumes. After her collaboration with Fabricut last year, which consisted of prints, wovens, embroideries and trimmings to the list, she now brings wallcoverings to the mix.

PDC THRIVES IN ITS 40TH YEAR WITH NEW TENANTS

Forty years is looking good on the PDC. The design center has nearly 81,000 square feet of new, expanding and renewing showrooms. Important fashion-forward resources, such as Cygal Art Deco and James Perse, are securing space at the PDC to engage the West Coast design community.

PATTERSON FLYNN MARTIN AUCTIONS OFF STUDENTS’ RUGS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR NEPAL, AND THE ALPHA WORKSHOPS

A rug design contest turned charity auction is what Patterson Flynn Martin hosted on June 16. The DDB showroom auctioned off the Art on the Floor Rug Design Contest rugs, featuring FIT students’ designs. The auction benefited the Alpha Workshops, a nonprofit that connects HIV-positive people with training and employment in the decorative arts, and the Nepalese workers impacted by recent natural disasters.
