THE GREAT DESIGN DEBATE:
Less Is More vs. More Is More
The design world is divided: Is cool, spare minimalism today’s ruling aesthetic, or is a colorful, eclectic visual mix ascendant? Is one look more current than the other? Is less more, or is more more? And can there be a successful compromise? Join proponents of each style in a lively debate moderated by Design Media Partners’ Michael Wollaeger. Ron Radziner of the renowned architecture firm Marmol Radziner and designer Ryan Jackson of Studio Jackson argue the benefits of the Minimalists. Designer, author and artist Justina Blakeney of The Jungalow and designer Ron Woodson of Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design take the side of the Maximalists. Who will win your vote?
