Nestled between the rigidity of midcentury modernism and the reactionary backlash of postmodernism, design in 1970s California embraced a sense of freedom and influence that still leads the charge in the design milieu. Moderated by Interiors Editor-in-Chief Erika Heet, a panel of design innovators including Jamie Bush, Sue Firestone and Spencer Rudin will engage in a lively discussion on California design in the 1970s, and the ways in which it continues to endure today.
