More than 75 new line introductions, open houses, receptions and showroom programs addressing topics that include color, retro style, business tactics, craftsmanship and product innovations complete the Market schedule.

11:45 AM – 12:30 PM | PERFEC Floors, Suite G299  Join PERFEC Floors and a panel of leading industry members, including Donna Livingston, Daria Lott, David McWhirter, Ron Moghimi and Joseph Szenyeri, as they address the trend toward wider, wide-width hardwood flooring planks. Providing an in-depth review of how and where to specify custom wide width, long length plank hardwood floors, the panel will also discuss grades, cuts, species of wood and what engineered cores and wear layers really mean in terms of performance, durability and long-term liability for design projects. A lunch reception follows.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Innovations, Suite M20  Retro Trends in Contemporary Design. This year, Innovations is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a ‘70s themed event and panel discussion! Designers David Dalton, Lori Dennis and Lonni Paul join moderator Annie Wharton, Curator, Annie Wharton Art Consulting, to explore the topic of retro trends in contemporary design. Taking cues from the Mad Men era and it’s influence on current contemporary interiors, beginning with mid-century modern and evolving toward a bold ‘70s influence, the panel will discuss how they incorporate vintage style into modern day designs, borrowing organically from all time periods and inspirations from the broader twentieth century and beyond. 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Holly Hunt, Suite B377  The Fine Art of Rug Weaving. The Holly Hunt Showroom presents an interactive opportunity to experience the textured artistry of SHIIR Rugs. Part inspiration, part education, part inside look at the fascinating world of artisan rug-making, this event features the SHIIR rug collection and includes the Essence Collection, the brand’s newest line of textured rugs. 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM | WITFORD, Suite B517  WITFORD invites you to meet Australian designer Christian Lyon as he discusses his collaboration with Japanese manufacturer Matusoka. Lyon shares his inspiration and passion in designing contemporary, 21st century furniture pieces that are steeped in the tradition of artisanal craftsmanship, yet made contemporary in application for modern tastes. 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Thomas Lavin, Suite B309/B310  Deciding What You Are Worth and Charging It. Join the Thomas Lavin showroom in presenting a CEU program specially created by design author, speaker and consultant Lloyd Princeton for designers who want information on what to charge clients for design services. In his presentation, Princeton will show guests how they can, from the time of first contact with a prospect through the final closing of a deal, determine the best ways to charge for their creativity and incorporate it into a solid letter of agreement – with confidence!

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Blue Conference Center, Suite B259 Wired+Inspired, presented by Dering Hall and Thomas Lavin Join Thomas Lavin for the big West Coast reveal of Wired+Inspired, a virtual show house presented by Dering Hall that displays the talents of top-tier designers with products from high-end brands. Brown Design Group, Chimera, Ohara Davies, Annette English, Kathryn Ireland, Meg Joannides, Matt O’Dorisio, Leo Parrella, Brooke Wagner and John Wooden have been selected to create “digital rooms” incorporating furnishings, lighting, textiles, and accessories from the Thomas Lavin showroom will unveil their “rooms” and engage in a round-robin discussion about how products can serve as inspiration for the design of a space.

6:30 PM – 8:30 PM | Ralph Pucci International, Suite B203 Keynote Reception  Ralph Pucci invites you to toast PDC featured keynote Hutton Wilkinson with a reception in celebration of his new book The Walk to Elsie’s. The showroom will also present an exhibition of sculptures by Hawaiian artist John Koga, a well-known Hawaiian living modernist whose sculptures reflect the whimsical side of his art and personality. A performance art piece presented by critically acclaimed dancer/choreographer Holly Rothschild punctuates the festivities. Libations to be served.
