A robust schedule of more than 100 showroom product introductions, events and lectures complemented the four power-house keynote presentations providing a comprehensive Market experience for designers attending from across the nation and around world.
A highlight to WESTWEEK was the invitation-only 2014 Stars of Design and Stars on the Rise Awards. Presided over by Charles S. Cohen, President and Owner of Pacific Design Center, the annual ceremony honors Southern California’s most prolific talents for their accomplishments, commitment to excellence and contributions to their profession across the creative disciplines. 2014 honorees included Doug Aitken (Art), Alison Berger (Product Design), Timothy Corrigan (Interior Design), Agustin Garza (Graphic Design), Art Gray (Photography) and Robert Truskowski (Landscape Design). Stars on the Rise included Joseph Dangaran, Tyler Dawson, Tamara Kaye-Honey and Brett Woods.
Pierre Frey happily launches its first children collection in over 30 years – Confettis! With 15 patterns that include prints, embroideries, and sheers, this comprehensive collection of fabrics and coordinating wallpapers serves up a sophisticated, yet playful décor for children.
Large-scale colorful designs include painterly lilies and leaves, coral appliqué, a stylized tree of life and an ikat diamond.
