Pacific Design Center’s Fall Market 2015 is the West Coast’s definitive showcase for global design. Debuting an array of luxury furnishings and interiors resources crafted by today’s foremost design innovators, the Market event introduces the latest offerings from among 2,200 product lines presented by nearly 100 boutique to internationally revered showroom manufacturers. More than 75 new line introductions, open houses, receptions and showroom programs addressing topics that include color, retro style, business tactics, craftsmanship and product innovations complete the Market schedule.

Providing an in-depth review of how and where to specify custom wide width, long length plank hardwood floors, the panel will also discuss grades, cuts, species of wood and what engineered cores and wear layers really mean in terms of performance, durability and long-term liability for design projects. 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Innovations, Suite M20 Retro Trends in Contemporary Design. This year, Innovations is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a ‘70s themed event and panel discussion! Designers David Dalton, Lori Dennis and Lonni Paul join moderator Annie Wharton, Curator, Annie Wharton Art Consulting, to explore the topic of retro trends in contemporary design. Taking cues from the Mad Men era and it’s influence on current contemporary interiors, beginning with mid-century modern and evolving toward a bold ‘70s influence, the panel will discuss how they incorporate vintage style into modern day designs, borrowing organically from all time periods and inspirations from the broader twentieth century and beyond. Brown Design Group, Chimera, Ohara Davies, Annette English, Kathryn Ireland, Meg Joannides, Matt O’Dorisio, Leo Parrella, Brooke Wagner and John Wooden have been selected to create “digital rooms” incorporating furnishings, lighting, textiles, and accessories from the Thomas Lavin showroom will unveil their “rooms” and engage in a round-robin discussion about how products can serve as inspiration for the design of a space.
